It was Valentine’s Day 2021, and a very special surprise lay ahead for Melinda. We drove to Melinda’s old neighborhood and parked our car just a few blocks away from where she had previously lived before we moved in together. We took a short walk and as we rounded the corner onto Montana Ave in Santa Monica, CA, the magnificent marquee on the left side of the vintage and famous AERO THEATER was lit up with a special message for all couples celebrating their love. On the right side however, was a message meant for one special person. So, on this Valentine’s evening, I hoped to make it extra special and let her know that she is the love of my life and the person I want to spend forever with.
