Savannah is the oldest city in Georgia and is referred to as ‘The Hostess City of the South’, making it the perfect place for us to welcome you to our most special day!
Savannah is filled with southern charm and is known for its beautiful nature, coastal landscapes, rich history, preserved architecture, and famous films like ‘Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil’ (based on the book by the same name).
Located an hour south of Hilton Head Island, there are many things to do in this town from day trips and tours, walking the parks, shopping in the Historic District and dining by River Street, to jumping on a ferry and heading over to Tybee Island. One of our favorite places is the Olde Pink House restaurant right in the center of town. It’s an awesome place with a rich history to grab a drink or meal while you’re in town!
Forsyth Park is the largest park in Savannah. It’s magical fountain which is framed by gorgeous Spanish moss trees will host our wedding ceremony.
And a fun fact… the infamous Spanish moss trees that drape the city are not actually moss in the least! Spanish moss is a cousin to... wait for it… the pineapple!
